MY APPROACH
My approach in Assisi is the same I bring everywhere: pure reportage, no staged poses. I observe, anticipate the moments, shoot.
Assisi adds something of its own: pink stone that changes colour with the light, lanes that empty at golden hour, a valley that turns to a golden sea at sunset.
Many of the couples I follow here come from abroad: for them, being free to simply live the day is part of the destination wedding experience.

THE TERRITORY
Assisi concentrates basilicas, castles above the valley, olive groves and open countryside within a few kilometres: four different backdrops for the same wedding day.
The Basilica of Saint Francis, Santa Chiara, the Cathedral of San Rufino: for religious ceremonies, Assisi has no rival in Umbria. At golden hour the medieval lanes empty out and become a natural set for portraits.
Petrata Castle — where I've photographed unforgettable destination weddings — and the other panoramic relais around town host symbolic ceremonies in their gardens and receptions with the whole Umbrian valley at your feet.
Olive groves on the slopes of Subasio, the Hermitage in the woods, white roads between the fields: ten minutes by car take you from medieval stone to open countryside for your couple portraits.
At the foot of the hill, the great basilica with the Porziuncola, and the valley towards Spello and Foligno: estates and farmhouses for green, easy-to-reach receptions.

We meet in person or on a video call. Tell me how you fell in love, where you're marrying, what you dream your photos will feel like.
Together we plan the day's timeline, the venue visit, the ideal hours for natural light. Nothing is left to chance.
I arrive for the preparations and stay for the agreed coverage. Discreet, constant, never intrusive.
Personal selection and editing of every image. Private online gallery within 60 days, and a handcrafted album if included — shipped worldwide.

I work across Umbria from my base in Foligno, 20 minutes away, and have photographed both Italian and international weddings here.

From your photographer you need English, local knowledge and the ability to work with international teams — all part of my regular work.
